The UK College of Policing engaged us to develop a training package for the UK Public Event Commanders. This is now Mandatory training for all UK Public Event Commanders and has been running since 2018. We delivered the same package (train the trainer) to NSW Police early 2020.
Aims and objectives
The aim of this course is to provide an insight to applications of crowd science (crowd safety and crowd risk analysis) to policing places of public assembly. It draws on the crowd science materials from a police perspective. We deliver this as a train the trainer course.
